You'd think I should know this - but I don't for sure.

So I need the great USMB collective to assimilate:

 

For the 1998 to 2002 Imprezas and Foresters - are the lift kits identical?

Not just the struts, but the entire subframe, trans, diff, etc blocks package.

 

Specifically, I have a 50mm Scorpion kit for Forester - will it fit same the year Impreza?

Should be the same, although there could be minor differences like spacing of the rear strut tower bolts.

ya the only difference i'm aware of is the rear struts have a wider mounting on the 2002+ compared to the 2001 and prior vehicles. The exhaust and rear swaybar mounts are different also i think.

You'll want to ditch the rear swaybar for offroading.
