Does anyone know if they make a modified setup for a cold air intake on an '89 XT-6? I tried using a custom one my buddy built for his '92 legacy wagon but the hose for the XT is too long and also makes a wierd bend from the engine, which I suspect is because of the throttle being right next to it. If anyone has any ideas please point me in the right direction!

subaruxt.com, where I and all the other XT folks hang out, most of them are members here as well but more activity there for XT stuff. a number of folks have done it, dyno tested it, and results are there. it's all custom, but parts are easily gotten off ebay.
