I'm looking at putting new wheels on my Legacy (Liberty in Australia). The current Subaru alloys are 17" x 7" with a +55 offset. Tyres are 215/45/ZR17.

 

The new rims are 17" x 7" with a +45 offset. I intend fitting same tyres.

 

 

Does anyone know if this will cause me problems ie rubbing on suspension etc.

You may have some rubbing issues on the outside of the tire and the chassis. I have 16x7 +45 offset running 205/50 r16 and initially had some minor rubbing on the inner fender trim. I ended up having a shop grind down the metal and putting a new trim piece on. That was a long time ago.
