dennis cook Posted October 30, 2009 Share Posted October 30, 2009 I'm looking at putting new wheels on my Legacy (Liberty in Australia). The current Subaru alloys are 17" x 7" with a +55 offset. Tyres are 215/45/ZR17. The new rims are 17" x 7" with a +45 offset. I intend fitting same tyres. Legacy777 Posted November 1, 2009 Share Posted November 1, 2009 You may have some rubbing issues on the outside of the tire and the chassis. I have 16x7 +45 offset running 205/50 r16 and initially had some minor rubbing on the inner fender trim. I ended up having a shop grind down the metal and putting a new trim piece on.
