TeamCF
So I'm meeting up with a bunch of Jeeps at the North Plains McDonalds at 8:30am tomarrow for a TSF run. (Some of these guys are not even bringing street legal rigs, so it should be a fun day. And they are excited to see the Soob in action again and would like to see more) Chaz, Gregg, Mike, anyone who wants to. It's late and I'm hitting the hay so I'm not calling anyone. Hope y'all see this. Hope the trans holds together for one more run............. (reason I am not hitting up the HP tree run)

TeamCF
It was too cold for pics. I got two of the CJ on Canopener and then my finger froze and the batteries died. Nice and windy up there. We never even stopped for lunch as it was just too windy and cold to get out much, the cold would not have been bad if not for the windchill. There was a bit of snow. Only two other guys showed up. One in a Rubicon and one in a CJ5. Both on 36"s. Was a bit of snow. So it was nice and slick in spots. We hit up some powerlines trails, a section of Archers, Firebreak 5, 7-up, Saddle Up, a trail next to the one I led you and Frank down (Rocky Uphill) that one time and it was like Subaru pinball, Hogsback, the second half of University Firepower as the big hill part was closed for the season, I think that's about it. The CJ hit up Canopener and something went "pop" in his front axle. We called it a day after that. I think we were out of there by 1 or so. And I need to block off my radiator. I put a 180* thermostat in and I can't get any heat on the highway now, my temp guage stays pegged at the bottom, if I stop it all works fine but once moving in this cold it just dumps the heat when it opens. And with no interior.... brrrrrrrrr....... I think the seal conditioner is working in my trans though. Buy me a few more runs while parts for the 5spd come in. The NW Backroads tree run next weekend is gonna be cold. I'll have to remember extra socks. Edited December 7, 2009 by TeamCF I forgot to use the spacebar, alot. TeamCF
I could be up for an evening run during the week. Been awhile since I've went out on the weeknight run. I've kinda just been saving the Soob for certain runs these days. I gotta do tags as well. Mine are expired at the end of Jan. And i'm just inside the DEQ line and my last CAT is smashed into dust. Gregg gave me his old downpipe and CAT. Gonna try it even though a few chunks fell out of it.... hehe If not I'll just have to buy one and weld it on. Crap plus I have no air injection system anymore. Still on the old engine.... I gotta get to work.
chazmataz
my green 84 wagon expire at the end of jan. also but my grey 86 expired the of nov. well i'm moving to just outside DEQ which is where my grey 86 has been registered for 6 years now but i just don't have the money to renew. i get paid on thursday so maybe i can then, my hours have drop off at work so things are tight right now. need a good snow storm to boost business. i would have gone up north today if i had the gas money but it just wasn't in the budget. oh wait i don't have a budget. let me know if you want to go on a weeknight. monday or tuesday night would work for me. i'm hoping to have my lights finally hooked up this tuesday, i also need to replace bothf ront axles and take out the RX springs i put in. to stiff but they defininately raised the front up, i like the height but not stiffness and the stress on the axles since its my DD and exploring/camping/trip rig.
