December 8, 200916 yr That hole is usually just plugged, unless someone installed an aftermarket switch there or if the car had dealer installed Subaru Foglights. -Bill
December 8, 200916 yr Author ok, I figured It might be for fog lights. Ive got the factory rollbar thats wired for lights, so maybe its already wired in there.... I should check, I sure hope its there:brow:
December 8, 200916 yr Oh, also, a REALLY rare option on the GL's of that body style, there was an optional passing lamp in the grille, similar to the Gen 2 passing lamp/third eye, but a different housing and cover, to fit the Gen 1 grill. The DL would not have had that, but thats where the switch would be. -Bill
December 8, 200916 yr Author On the subject of lights, I really want to find a cyclops eye and put it in. either way, now I need to pull my dash open and check some wires....... hopefully I'll be buying a switch for my lights:brow:
