Fuel Separator

Featured Replies

I am trying to change the fuel separator on my 83 GL wagon. I can't seem to find a way to get to it. I can see where the three lines coming from the tank go into a rubber gasket, but I can't find a way to get to it. Also I removed the triangular plate, but all that is under is the filler neck and a fuel line not going to the separator. ANy suggestions? Thanks.

The filter is forward of the rear, passenfer tire about 10 inchs. Inboard about 8 inch's. There, you will find a triangular plate secured with three 10mm bolts. On the plate will be the fuel pump and a filter. Also a filter in the engine room by the firewall.Drivers side.
