Broken rear finishing panel

Featured Replies

I have a 2001 Subaru Outback Limited with a broken rear finishing panel (the plastic "Subaru" stamped part in the center of the hatch). I cannot seem to find any information about replacing these. Any suggestions?

Also, I found a new replacement for $150 (dealer wanted $375).

If your asking the work part of it, it is very easy. At least on my Forester, you simply pry off the old one and put in new one by aligning the clip retainer to the appropriate spots and place firmly back in; poof your done. While it off it might be a good time to grease the wiper mechanism.
