That I have seen been looking into getting a small lift and the king springs seem to be the easiest way to go but that will have to wait due to some nasty head gasket issues that surfaced the other day:-\

Those EJ25's tend to be a little touchy...

And you're on the right track for the lift.

Outback struts and king springs and you'll gain an extra 3in?

Not too sure, it may vary by vehicle.

Yeah Ive read the king springs add around 2-3" and if I wanted more I could go with Forester struts for like an inch more. Those couple extra inches can do wonders . Anyways thanks for the warm welcome!
