The temp lever on my 95 Lego creeps toward cold unless it's all the way to the left. The diagram in the Hanes manual is nothing like mine--it shows a clamp and screw, while my cable is held by a c-clip. Any idea? Thanks.

So is the problem that the lever/door does not stay put where you set it. Or does the selector not indicate the correct position for what the door is positioned for?

 

If the issue is the first, there's probably a screw or nut to tighten that will increase the resistance on the door movement, or keep the selector lever from moving.

The lever doesn't stay in place-it creeps toward cold. No adjustment screw on the control panel; could there be one elsewhere? Thanks.

It's probably behind inside the control unit.
