The correct part is ACT470 (fronts, with ABS). Had to call Akebono to get it straight.

 

This is for a '96 impreza OBS and probably back to '93.

 

ACT563 is listed in the vendors parts catalog and on the Akebono website, but they won't fit (too big). Adding to the confusion is the ACT564 marking on the backing material. Parts are not mis-boxed like you might think, just wrong period.

 

Pads are ceramic, come with grease, but no clips.

470 fits just about every ej subaru with single piston front calipers. Brake pad part numbers are industry standard, so that goes for any brand pads. They might add a few letters in there but the numbers will be the same.
