Weirdest thing ... My 1993 Subaru impreza blows hot air regardless of what heating or a/c setting it is on, except the controls will actually be OFF if you put it on max a/c. I'd really like to have some a/c in the car so i am trying to figure out what is going on. Has anyone ever had such a problem or have some ideas of how to fix?

Blend door cable has come loose from the lever.

 

Remove the control unit and reseat or replace the cable.
