trying to keep my '95 legacy awd 2.2l, non-turbo, station wagon alive. will a '98 legacy awd, 2.2l, non-turbo, transmission interchange with the '95 ?..............thanks

It "should" work. You just need to make sure the final drive ratios are the same between years.
