I just bought a Japanese spec 2003 TA-BP5 wagon. It's an EJ20 twin turbo (not twin scroll) and suspect 1 of the turbos may be bad.

 

 

 

Does anyone have the any OE references, specifications or model details to the turbo used? I read that some Subarus use a VF40 but I thinks thats on a single turbo EJ20. Any help is apprecicated

Welcome to the USMB. I'm not sure you'll find a lot of info on this board about that. I'd suggest searching on NASIOC, http://forums.nasioc.com/forums Or some of the other subaru boards in New Zealand or Australia since they import those models from Japan.
