So i got a pair of new taillights and was trying to replace them got the one side off and they are identicle lights but i cant get the new one on and the old one lines up the same. Is there a trick to getting them on? Seems like the small plastic lip on the bottom is keeping the light from going thru the holes. Any suggestions? thanks looks like rain soon

ok nevermind took another break from work and got it figured out guess the one side of the bumper is pushed up quarter inch maybe the screws on one side didn't line up but the other side was fine
