Do you have an EJ25 or 22 in your bug ?

Can you do me a favour and measure the with of the engine (the timing belt cover being the widest point I guess) and measure the inside of the engine compartement of the bug ?

 

I just got my engine adapter so I finally know how the EJ25 is going to sit, and now it turns it it won't fit between the sides.

This means I have to cut off the sides where the fenders mount and fab up some one piece rear end

Just FYI, I know snotrocket put a EJ22 in the bug. I don't know how he fit in in there though, so maybe he'll catch this post

Yeah, I thought I'd read that.

Anybody know if an EJ22 is narrower than an EJ25 ?
