My Loyale wagen has this clunking sound in the rear that is noticible on bumpy roads. The vehicle has new rear shocks and we have had it up on the lift twice trying to find out what is going on. Cannot find ANYTHING.

 

Sounds like something is bottoming out but there are no marks, no nothing back there???

 

Any ideas??

One of mine is done for too - small bumps/manhole covers makes a bang on one side in the rear but big speed bumps are smooth and quiet.

 

I think the NEW bushings are dealer only...correct? And don't you have to buy the whole assembly?

there is some info on the xt boards about poly urethane bushings for ea82's
