I just got a notice from Subaru about a software update for the ecu on my 09 Outback. The car runs fine, and it is a major trip to get to a dealer to have it done. Does anyone have experience with these things? Do they usually go well, or am I in danger of having something that works fine now screwed up if I let them do it? Just looking for opinions. Some computer updates are great, others not so much, so.....
