Attempting to change the right front stub axle seal on a friends 2004 awd have purchased seals but would I would like to remove bearing retainer in the trans axle and install seal. Is it threaded into the case? If it is and I mark it and count the turns coming out will my pre-load on the bearing be OK when I go back in? Need a good manual any recomendations? TKS
