jeff57chev Posted March 10, 2004 Share Posted March 10, 2004 My 93 legacy dies about 5 minutes after starting some days. On other days it goes for an hour. Dies at an idle or driving 65 mph. If I turn the key off and then back on it starts up and goes just fine. Its a 5-speed and the clutch keeps the motor running when I turn the key off and on. jeff57chev Posted March 31, 2004 Author Share Posted March 31, 2004 I checked the codes like you said. The MAF sensor was one of them. Bought one on E-bay for 25 dollors. Works perfect now. Thanks sooooo much for your help. Tried to clear the flashing check engine light, have not been able to do that yet even going through your directions. Will try the battery dance next.
