Hello, I just joined this thread to hopefully gain some general knowledge about Subaru's, as well as getting Subaru Owner's opinions on different matters. I am currently saving up for a used Subaru, and have only narrowed down my future ride to being a 2005-2009 Legacy GT sedan or a 2005-2010 WRX or a 2004-2007 STI. The only reason I would not purchase any newer models than what I listed is that I am limiting myself to $20k tops, $15k being preferable. Currently, I am most interested in a 2006-2008 Legacy GT Spec B, but for the right price I will also not rule out a WRX. A manual transmission is a must for me. It may be another six months to a year until I have saved up enough money for the car that I am looking for, but am trying to scope them out now so I can see exactly what I should expect to end up paying.

Welcome! There's a lot of us around the Seattle area. And tons of good advice and opinions on this board!
