Changing the steering rack on my 97' OB Impreza and mixed up these bolts. One of these is for the steering yoke the other is for the front sway bar. I can't remember which is which.

 

The shorter one has a tapered end if that isn't apparent from the picture. They are both 12mm.

Pretty sure the one with taper is for the steering u joint.

Whenever I remove parts that have multiple or similar bolts I put the bolts back in the hole they came from until I'm ready to reassemble.

The tapered one is for the swaybar and the regular one is for the u-joint.
