How do you remove that chrome finish from an old bumper?

I have tried Naval Jelly and Klean Strip Aircraft paint remover and neither seems to eat away at that chrome. Can anyone tell me something they have had success with?

Take it to a chrome shop. Shouldn't cost much just to have them dip it to remove the chrome. Other option would be to grind it off unless you want to mess with very strong acids and the resulting byproduct.
