muffler shop just quoted me $700 for the whole system. seems crazy high to me. im going to take it to him this afternoon to see exactly what needs doing.

 

what other subarus exhaust systems are the same as mine? maybe i could find something at a junkyard or something.

he quoted $400 for just the front section with the cat. i found the whole thing on jc whitney for $125, and on rock auto for $160.

that sounds alot more reasonable to me. on the back end he said $90 for muffler and $90 for resonator plus the pipe.

lol, i apparently violated photobuckets terms of service and got banned. didnt read the tos, so i probably did.

You don't even need a cat on the Brat. Many people cut them off not long after they were new.

 

Oh, and start a new thread over in old gen for technical stuff. More people browse there and can give you a broader chance for more options when it comes to answers.
