Featured Replies

hey everyone any help would be great. was driving down hwy to work and noticed a ticking noise, pushed in the clutch to downshift for tollbooth, and it dies, tied turning over will rolling and nothing, tried to pop start and nothing, pulled on to shoulder and turned key off and back on and it started right up but with the worst noise i have ever heard come from a engine. like nails on a chalkboard. :banghead: put a quart of lucas in it and tried again and much better just mainly a moderate valve knock. any ideas

after the lucas drove it around a parking lot that i had it towed to and it seamed to have normal power, just had the what sounds like a valve knock. did head gaskets and water pump and timing belt like 6 months ago and 12000 miles ago.

Might want to put it somewhere other than the Meet & Greet forum ;oD
