I managed to inadvertently find this forum while looking over Milesfox's tutorials for the EA82. Kudos to you for really putting this car into perspective for me. Past that, I appreciate the advice those of you gave on what to do with my Legacy and Loyale... yeah... the front drive pair... I did get the Legacy fixed, $1300 later (Not awful, 5 year warranty on the unit... Overdrive works great too, even the kickdown). Anyway, I'm mostly here for info, and maybe to drop names of places I happen to see older Subaru's. I try not to spring for anything newer than a 96 myself, so... Heh.
