Who has put rebuilt heads on an old 300K EJ22 without rebuilding the block and been happy with results?

Would love to read the story.

Why would the heads need to be put on a high mileage block without rebuilding the whole thing? Arent the heads usually more robust? Nevermind just read your previous thread.
