Fuel Sending Unit and Fusible Link Questions for '78 Wagon

We're rehabbing a 1978 wagon and looking at having to replace the seal gasket for the fuel tank sending unit and the fusible links from the battery.

 

My questions: Where can we find a replacement gasket for the send unit (or what can we use instead)?

 

Also, does anyone know what the wire gauge is for the fusible links? I can get new fusible link wire, but I'm not sure of the gauge needed.
