  1. Hey, sorry to be a bit off-topic, but I left you a PM about contacting me regarding Moosens' windshield gasket shipment. Regarding the electric harness, I've got a '78 wagon and am in Denton. If you want to arrange to swing by and take a look at the harness as installed, I'd be happy to arrange it. Hopefully that would give you a good idea of what you need to be changing. Beth
  2. Hey, can you contact me about the windshield gasket order? Moosens says that it would be easier if he could send to one address in Denton. You can email me directly at bmashburn@yahoo.com. Thanks.

  3. Hey moosens. I sent the gasket payment via my husband's Paypal. Thanks much.

  4. Sorry, I lost track of this with other things going on. I'll have the money to you in the next day or two.
  5. Since you're in the Denton area, go to L.A. Tires. I'm not sure what they would charge to mount tires, but I know that they've given me pretty good prices in the past for used tires and for dismounting and disposing of some old ones.
  6. Heyla, I'm another Dentonite. My husband and I have a 1978 DL wagon that we're rehabbing and he's got a 1985 Brat that's currently sidelined with a busted rear strut support until we get the tank off and get a new plate welded in.
  7. We're rehabbing a 1978 wagon and looking at having to replace the seal gasket for the fuel tank sending unit and the fusible links from the battery. My questions: Where can we find a replacement gasket for the send unit (or what can we use instead)? Also, does anyone know what the wire gauge is for the fusible links? I can get new fusible link wire, but I'm not sure of the gauge needed. Thanks much.
  8. Caleb, this is Beth of Mike and Beth in Texas. Mike says that your phone isn't working, so we're wondering how you are doing and what is the best way to get in touch with you.

    Thanks,

    Beth M.

  9. Never mind. Got the answer from Calebz. The 3-speed AT turbos are 23-count. The 4-speed AT turbos are 25 count.
  10. Hi. I'm having to replace a front half-shaft on my 1988 GL-10 Turbo wagon. It's a 4-speed AT full-time 4WD. I've read through some of the past postings, but am still slightly confused. From what I've seen it appears that MT Turbos have a 25-spline count on the shaft and AT Turbos have a 23-spline count on the shaft. Is this correct? I'd like to make sure that I'm getting the right one before I go ordering the thing. Thanks much.
