  1. Loyale 2.7 Turbo started following calebz
  2. I put a 2.5 inch trubo-back on my old wagon. Only difference I noticed between that and the crappy made 3 inch that was on there is that with the 2.5, you can't hear the turbo through the tailpipe very well..
  3. Start here: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=73676 Read every reference link. Then use the search function to fill in the blanks. Head back to this thread if you have any questions after that.
  4. Here is another suspension writeup http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=79257 My apologies if this comes out sounding snippy. It is one thing to be a n00b and ask questions without searching. It goes somewhat beyond that when the n00bs come in asking for new writeups when so many members have spent time compiling and presenting data. A number of us have just quit doing it since no one will search for it anyway. Everyone wants a new one just for them.
  5. You could just look for the article that was posted 2 years before you joined. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=50400 Hell, I didn't even have to use the search button to find it (Assuming you were looking for 5 lug swap stuff - the precursor to the best lowering options. Kinda hard for me to know since you were pretty ambiguous in your request for a new write up of... something)
  6. Which swap are you referring to? XT6 swap? Front XT swap? Aftermarket springs on stock suspension swap? This is kind of a general 'lowering' thread. Given that there are multiple ways of doing it, there would be multiple writeups. How about you pick one of the methods and write it up for us?

  8. The pictures in the OP belong to Brad. Not sure how much time he spends here anymore. I may have copies of the pics. If I can find them, I will fix the links in the first post.
  9. OP - Thank you for the awesome pics and the bits of history. I have a request. Could you find it in your heart to give English lessons to some of the members here? Your use of the language is substantially better than that of many of our American members.
  10. Not all of the rest of us.
  11. Pretty much anywhere that sells auto parts. However, I prefer Subaru factory head gaskets. Many milesand many mods. I have blown the ************ out of an EA82 in nearly every way possible. I have never popped a head or head gasket though.
  12. Does the 85 have the separate parking light switch on the top of the steering column? I have purchased two 87s for cheap because of battery drain issues that were fixed by turning that switch off
  13. None of those are AWD As far as binding while straight, it could be non matching tires, could be that you bound up either during a turn or on a dry spot and the drivetrain hasn't released the energy yet.
  14. I'm in Plano. My Subaru involvement hasn't been much lately, but I'm still in the game.
