Steering wheel prob's

Featured Replies

So I have a 85 Sub GL wagonm I took the steering wheel off in order to replace the turn signal switch. So now for the life of me I can't get the center peice back on? It will look like it is clipped in but as soon as I cross RR tracks or some bumps off it comes? Any tricks to getting those clips to re-engage? Also is there newer models Suby's that I can take a wheel off of that will bolt right on? If I can't get this center peice to stay on I'm thinking of putting on a different style of wheel.

Thanks for your knowledge.

I saw your other post. this wheel you want to hook on the top, pull it downward, and push it on. you will feel the top snap in if you do it right.
