95 1.8 L FWD into a 2.2 AWD??? Yes or No

Okay here's the deal...

I have a 95 L FWD manual that some idiot rammed his knee into at stop light after cutting me off the road (long story). The important thing is he messed up the rear quarter panel and insurance is giving me $900 to fix it. Well I found a 95 2.2 AWD auto that has front driver door and fender damage for $600 (inside looks good too). I was thinking about buying the 2.2 and swapping out the engine & suspension, then stripping it down and selling the parts or junk it. On my current car I just replaced both cv joints and bearings and was about to replace the rack and pinion until I came across this opportunity. What would you do? Keep the 1.8 FWD and use the $900 to fix the damage (found a guy that would do it for $550) and replace the r/p, or buy the other car and swap for the AWD suspension/brakes, rims and 2.2 (might swap some interior pieces too LOL)?

I need your help guys... what would you do???

:sadbanana:
