another ej swap wiring thread

Featured Replies

I scored the harness out of a 96 or so impreza for my ej swap, and so far the only thing I've done is unplug the engine side of the harness from the rest of it, and it looks like that's all i'll need. Do i need to cut anything out of the rest of the harness? Another question, if I were to want to keep the obd2 plug, how much work is involved with removing that from the harness?

the best thing to do is get ALL the wiring from behind the dash. don't cut anything, unplug all connectors so they can be identified...

there is alot of good write ups on this subject.
