Subie Specialists?

Featured Replies

Hi everybody.

I was wondering if anyone has dealt with Subie Specialists out of Michigan before? If so, were you satisfied with the purchase? I am looking to get a rebuilt engine for my '03 Outback.

Thanks for any feedback.

Now, I can't speak to their overall quality, nor would I want to bash any other company, but...

We had a customer last month who bought one, then had a serious problem at 1,000 miles. According to her, they refused to warranty it because she didn't have it installed by one of their "approved" installers. As I understand, there was no mention of this whatsoever in their warranty paperwork.

This is hearsay. Please understand that. But, if I were you, I would ask lots of questions before buying.

(Oh, and we give a USMB discount) :D

Thanks guys. Emily, what is the turnaround on an engine from you guys? Do you have some available now or do you rebuild only after you have an order?

Thanks!

Since there are at least 5 things we have to match for the engine to work with YOUR car, we build all engines custom. Build time ranges from 3-6 working days, depending on rarity and how busy we are.

All engines sold on exchange basis, shipping is included, plus installation gasket kit.

Oh, and there's a $250 OFF sale going on right now!
