Bucking on the freeway

Featured Replies

I was on the freeway and the sube started mildly bucking at around 70mph, so I let off on the gas until around 65mph, and it stopped. Came back a couple more times along the way. Also noticed an intermittent hesitation from a stop as well. My idle started acting up a few weeks ago also. It will rarely go to 7-800rpm, mostly hovers around 1k-1200rpm. Any ideas?

Check your fuel pressure. It's possible the fuel pump is getting weak. Change all the fuel filters, this can be a quick cure. If the fuel pressure is weak, a fuel pump swap is pretty easy on our Soobs (just be sure the tank is nearly empty).
