Aftermarket Fuel Cell Installation

Featured Replies

Anyone ever put a fuel cell into an old Soob Wagon? Have a 78 that the gas tank is shot on. Found an original replacement but it's going to cost me 350$. An 8 gallon stainless steel is only going to cost 150. This is what I'm looking at: http://www.mooreparts.com/store/product/5389/TKS833/ I've never installed a fuel cell before but I would imagine it couldn't be that difficult. The current tank is out and I'm curious if anyone knows if the stock fuel pump would draw the fuel from a tank such as this if mounted where the existing fuel tank is located. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
