Hey, I have a 1993 Subaru impreza 1.8L and I am having a very hard time finding an air intake system that will fit this car, I would really like to fix it up, and I want a new air intake to be first on my list. I saw one by Weapon-r that says it is for the 1993 impreza but it says it is for 2.2L and 2.5L. Thank you.

99% sure the same intake will fit all 3 engines

Alright thanks. I just wasn't so sure and didn't want to get it only to find out it doesn't fit.

The factory air box already provides clean cool air to your engine. Leave it alone

 

"High flow" filters and "cold air" intakes are generally junk.

 

It will pull hot engine bay air, and the washable cone filter will let tons of grit into your engine.

 

If you care about your car buy a new paper filter for the stock air box and call it done.
