He So I have some old 97 impreza obs struts sitting in my garage and have them listed on craigslist and some one is interested in the but they have a 95 fwd impreza....

My concern is from the fwd to awd.... I know that all of the parts match up for awd but just wanted to make sure that they are the same for fwd as well.

I know you guys know your stuff and I could get a quick reply here.

AWD struts are about 2 inches shorter than the FWD.

Just to clarify the rear struts are what are different.  The front struts are more or less the same.

Ok great!!! Thanks.. I was almost positive that there was a difference in height but wasnt sure if it was due to struts or springs...

Unless the spring are different as well??

The springs will have slightly different spring rates, but are compatible between the two models.
