Trying to get a handle on repairing my subaru! 87 hatchback... Driving me crazy with cooling issues

Make sure the ground pigtail from the radiator is connected to the core support. The radiator must be grounded for the fan thermoswitch to operate the fan.

 

Check for proper coolant level, search proper burping procedure.
