Hi Fellow Subaru Owners,

 

I own an 1981 Subaru GL.

Auto transmission is shot, needs a new one.

157,000 miles

 

I've been driving this car for the last 10 years. I'm quite sad to part with it.

The carb has been replaced with an after market one within the last 6 months, new tires, new alternator, new belt. All 4 shocks have been replaced. 

 

How much do you think I could get for her? Would anyone be interested?

 

Any and all feedback/comments would be helpful.

Dude.....just get a new transmission, or swap in a 5sp. That thing is too clean to get rid of for something as simple as a gearbox failure.
