I have a 1996 legacy automatic 2.5 driving down the freeway all of a sudden no power then white smoke filled the car now engine starts and runs fine until you try to go then it seems like its jammed up...any thoughts?

The is the wrong section for this but will try to help anyways. You have a lot of white smoke out the exhaust ? If so, sounds like a blown head gasket.
