New Subaru Outback owner wondering about rear sway bar

Featured Replies

I recently purchased a 2010 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited. I understand that some Outback owners have upgraded their sway bars (from 15 mm to 18 or 19 mm). I have investigated Ralltek and Whiteline without much luck, but I did receive a suggestion about the 18 mm STi OEM sway bar...

Thoughts? Advice?

Thx

Not as I understand…..I believe the newer gen. Outbacks have a 15mm sway bar. Some have 'complained' about lane wandering at highways speeds….as such, some have opted for a beefier sway bar. A couple of years ago, Outback owners were installing 19mm Rallitek sway bars with some success….but I can't find anything on their site….best option now seems to be the STi 18mm…..

I'd love to hear from those who have upgraded…worth it? Does it make a significant difference??
