fuel pump dies again what a good universal option

Featured Replies

87 hatch , oem fuel pump went bad, upon changing this, noticed the hard lines were rotted out and nasty, changed them to all fuel linesinstead of metal line,, I installed a out of package fuel pump from shucks, since mine is out of tank which is kind of nice. That one lasted about 6 months, Installed another one from somewhere else , It just died after 4 months.. What the heck, stock fuel pump went over 220,000 these ones last 5k tops. Any idead for a good universal pump ,that wont break the bank?

Do you think there's sediment or something in your tank that could be killing them?
