I have a 1980 gl and i've been wondering about doing a 5 lug conversion. I really just want to know if i can use parts off of a gl10

You can not use parts from a GL10 as it is still 4x140.  You will need parts from an XT6.  I'm sure someone with more knowledge on the subject can chime in and provide some links.
