My cheesy CD service manual does not list torque specs for various repairs.  Does anyone have handy the torque specs for:

  1. tensioner              18.1 +/- 1.4 ft-lbs
  2. idlers                     28.9 +/- 2.9 ft-lbs
  3. water pump          7.2 +2.9/-0 ft-lbs
  4. oil pump                4.7 ft-lbs
  5. crank pully            79.6 +7.2 /-3.6 ft-lbs (although many tighten the crap out of this...more like 150 ft-lbs)
  6. cam sprockets     57.9 +/- 3.6 ft-lbs
  7. cam cap bolts        top bolt 12  ft-lbs, bottom two bolts 7 ft-lbs)

thanks-

Tighten the Crank pulley bolt to at least 140 ft lbs.

Many times the torque specs are listed in the exploded views, but not in the repair sections.

All of the torque specs will be the same for a Legacy. you can get a Legacy Factory service manual here: http://www.main.experiencetherave.com/subaru_manual_scans/
