So I've got the 78 Brat pretty much completed. Just a few things I need to take care of here and there. I've been driving it around quite often and now that I have a working Odometer I will finally be able to figure out how many MPG I get. My rough estimate is about 30-31 MPG. Which is pretty good but I know we can do better. Is there any transmission I can get that will bolt up and give me a 5th gear? I bet if it had an extra gear I would be able to drive around and get maybe close to 40. What options are out there? Whats the best MPG I would be able to get?
