Getting ready to rework the front end but some questions for the veterans, found some good axles for the front and am giving serious thought to replacing the struts just because of age.  The body has a 3" lift and my thought is that the standard shock/strut wouldn't be right, Lengthwise. is there a different strut that I should use?

Any help or experiences any of you might have will be greatly appreciated.
