Suspension setup

Featured Replies

OK so I'm looking to lower my legacy. It's a 93 with a ej22 and manual trans. Wondering what the best option for the money is. The shocks are gone so I need to replace them anyways and I'm interested in the possibility of lowering it. Are any other year subaru suspension setups compatible with the car?

Cheers

Yeah these things are pretty much like Legos with suspension parts.

For the most part Springs control your height, struts control the ride. Some of the Impreza springs were shorter and will give you a little bit of a drop.

I don't know exact details but there is lots of info out there. I'm pretty sure LegacyCentral has a big suspension thread that covers options for lifting and lowering.

Sounds great thanks for the help!!

there should be some info on here about the lowest stock setup. (All my research was for lifted subarus) a few searches should get you on the right track.
