September 11, 201411 yr Just picked up a legacy donor car its a 2.2 Automatic front wheel drive car I'm thinking about doing is Going with the 2.5 block as i have a complete block with blown head gaskets Is it worth it to put the 2.2 heads on the 2.5 block or should I just keep it 2.2 all the way is the power that much better with the 2.5 block
September 12, 201411 yr Do you know the 2.5 short block is in good shape? Others have found after a 2.5 hg is blown, the bearings go bad because of them being washed by coolant. Are you prepared to check? Thats one of my fears.
