Wiring EA82T 1989

Featured Replies

Hi. I like to use the engine from a L serie 1989, mpfi.

I am looking for a wiring diagram, I got several of them, but if I compare the wire colors it's not right.

The connectors have numbers on it, but, or they are not on the diagram, or the wire colors don't fit.

So I wonder wich one I need.

No problem to buy a manual, if I know wich one.

Someone here to put me in the right direction?

How can I find the right wiring diagram for my EA82T engine.

pe. My air flow meter has 6 wires, all the diagrams have 5 wires.

The connectors to the engine are 3/4/4/3 pins, none of the diagrams I find are like this.

Or, is it always a bit of guessing with those diagrams.

I think I have 4 diagrams for EA82 and even they are different.

Generally they are the same, only wire colors and set-up is different.

would you shrare it with us i too have EA82T 1987 model

whose wirining needs to be redone.thanks

I have a service manual with wiring diagrams. I'll post photos later tonight after work. It's an '89 service manual so wire colors and connector colors may vary but terminal positions should be the same, your mileage may vary so it wouldn't hurt to confirm continuity between terminals with a multimeter.
